Take part in the elementary "Trash Trek for Litter"; pick up litter from a park or a roadside; paint over graffiti; plant flowers; plant a tree. Register by sending an email to Keep Beatrice Beautiful- kbb@beatrice.ne.gov. or call 402-228-4576.
Cleanup Grants Available
Church groups, 4-H Clubs and/or Scouts Troops can clean one or two miles of roadside right-of-way and earn $50 a mile. If interested, contact Keep Beatrice Beautiful at 402-228-4576 or kbb@beatrice.ne.gov.
