YARD WASTE PROGRAM
The City of Beatrice Yard Waste Program is an annual program offered from April 1st thru November 30th. The annual signup for the Yard Waste Program begins in March. Customers can sign up throughout the spring and summer months; however, once a customer is signed up, they will remain on the service thru November 30th. Yard Waste will be picked up every Wednesday for the duration of the program. Customers wishing to sign up for the Yard Waste Program should contact the Utility Billing Office at (402) 228-5200, or you can sign up for the Yard Waste Program Online at www.beatrice.ne.gov/sanitation/page/yard-waste-program
Cost: $9.00 per month (billed on your BPW utility bill)
Limit:
- 5 containers of grass (32 gallon)
- 10 containers of leaves (32 gallon)
Prohibited:
- Plastic Bags - Containers or paper bags ONLY. Yard Waste contained in any type of plastic bag will not be picked up.
- Sticks or Brush (grass & leaves only)
Citizens living in Beatrice who do not wish to participate in the Yard Waste Program can drop off grass and leaves at the City Compost Site.
Compost Site Disposal Area: NO CHARGE April 1st thru November 30th
Brush- $5.00 fee
