Program Information-

The local Keep America Beautiful System was certified in June 1982 as an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.  In it's effort to accomplish the goals to implement the KAB System, develop waste management programs to reduce litter and engage in public service activities a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation was established in July 1992 under the name of Beatrice Clean City, Inc.  Beatrice Clean City changed the name to Keep Beatrice Beautiful in 1997. 

As a community service program, our goal is to encourage all citizens to participate in a cleaner, more beautiful environment.  Program goals and objectives are based on the four major Keep America Beautiful System components:  Education, Enforcement, Technology and Ordinances.
