Program Information-
The local Keep America Beautiful Systems was certified in June 1982 as an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. In it's effort to accomplish the goals to implement the KAB System, develop waste management programs to reduce litter and engage in public service activities a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation was established in July 1992 under the name of Beatrice Clean City, Inc. BCC changed the name to Keep Beatrice Beautiful in 1997.
As a community service program, our goal is to encourage all citizens to participate in a cleaner, more beautiful environment. Program goals and objectives are based on the four major Keep America Beautiful System components: Education, Enforcement, Technology and Ordinances.
The Keep Beatrice Beautiful office not only serves the citizens of Beatrice but offers services to those in the county as well. KBB offers free educational services for students, teachers and community groups.
